DESCRIPTION:Through interactive parent-child activities\, parents will learn language & strategies to support their child to create healthy\, feel-good friendships. This session will review concepts taught at URSTRONG Schools through our Friendology 101 curriculum to reinforce a common “language of friendship” including: \n\nThe 4 Friendship Facts\nThe Friend-o-Meter\nThe Friend-o-Cycle\nFriendship Fires vs Mean-on-Purpose\n\nParents will also learn how to access a FREE course that includes 10 videos + activities to support your child in their friendships. You will learn how to unlock hundreds of activities\, videos\, and articles that are available to you and your child! \nThis session is for ALL AGES! Dana will be addressing how friendships change & evolve from the younger ages into teenhood and providing strategies for all ages. She will explain how the strategies even apply to adults and how she uses the tools in her own life. \nYounger children are invited to bring along a soft toy for role-playing activities and there will be an opportunity to ask Dana questions at the end of the session! \nImportant Notes:  \n\nThis event is open to the public! \nYou only need to purchase one ticket per family.\nIt will take place live on Thursday 11 November at 6pm (Sydney/Melbourne) via Zoom. DESCRIPTION:Please note: pricing is $495 per teacher from an existing URSTRONG School. This revised training model reflects the feedback of training participants and better suits the needs of the 40+ educators already registered for this event. \nEducators are invited to attend this four week professional learning course to become a certified instructor of the leading social-emotional development program\, Friendology 101\, directly from our Founder\, Dana Kerford. \nDana will share how URSTRONG is enhancing the social-emotional wellbeing of children through friendship skills. Educators will learn URSTRONG’s language\, skills\, and strategies along with the research supporting SEL (social-emotional learning) and evidence behind URSTRONG’s impact in schools globally. \nClasses will take place weekly on Mondays from 4.00pm to 5.30pm (AEDT\, Sydney/Melbourne) starting on 24 May 2021. Recordings will be available after the sessions for participants who aren’t able to attend a live class.
