DESCRIPTION:In partnership with Catholic Education WA Social Worker Network\, Social Workers are invited to learn how URSTRONG Schools support the social-emotional wellbeing of children through friendship skills. \nPresented by Tyson Greenwood (Director)\, Social Workers will hear his experience and insights as the Head of Wellbeing at one of the largest schools in Australia. \nTyson will share why friendship skills must be prioritised in schools and how he changed the culture at his school through URSTRONG’s Friendology 101 curriculum & whole-school friendship strategy. This session will introduce Social Workers to the unique “langauge of friendship” used at URSTRONG Schools to support students in cultivating healthy\, feel-good friendships\, including: \n\nThe 4 Friendship Facts\nThe Friend-o-Meter\nThe Friend-o-Cycle\nFriendship Fires vs Mean-on-Purpose\n\nThis is an interactive session where educators will be invited to ask questions at the end of the presentation. \n\n
